How This Calculator Works
This calculator helps you find the right time for a short, refreshing nap:
- The 20-Minute Power Nap: This is the ideal nap length for this age group. It provides a quick energy boost for homework or after-school activities without making them feel groggy or interfering with their nighttime sleep.
- Time to Fall Asleep: We add 15 minutes to the calculation to give them time to settle down and fall asleep. This ensures they get a full 20 minutes of rest.
It's best to have nap time end at least 4-5 hours before their regular bedtime to protect their nightly sleep schedule.
